Change These Habits to Change Your Look

It is natural that nobody wants to look older than their actual age. However, some of your daily habits may have made you just look older. You just have to release these habits to help your skin looks more youthful.

Smoking

Smoking is bad for the skin, because it speeds up aging and causes wrinkles. In the end, it makes you look older than you actually are. The wrinkles in the face of smokers appear under a microscope, even at the age of 20. Wrinkles are also more likely to be deeper among smokers. In addition, the smoke gives your face an unhealthy color and rough texture. So, stop smoking is good for younger looking.

Frowning

The wrinkles at the corners of the eyes or between the eyebrows are thought to be caused by small muscle contractions. Stop scrunching up your eyes and forehead when you are out in the sun by wearing sunglasses.

The way you sleep

The way you sleep can cause wrinkles. Regardless of how soft your pillow is, it puts pressure on your face. Over the years, it can cause lines on the cheek, chin or your forehead. Change your position and sleep on your back. People who do not sleep with their face buried in the pillow tend to have a less wrinkled face.

Sun exposure

Most wrinkles are caused by the sun exposure throughout your life. The hands and the face are particularly vulnerable to sun damage, because of frequent exposure. Wear a sunscreen with SPF of at least 15 at all times.

Yo-yo diets

Some experts believe that yo-yo dieting can damage the skin in the long run. The repeated stretching can damage the elastic structure that gives the skin its youthful, firm tone. So, if you decide to lose weight, do it slowly to avoid getting a sagging skin. Also, avoid overeating because it can lead to rapid weight gain that can stretch the skin.

    I gave up cigs a week ago and it really is starting to affect me today. My partner says I probably will not get it done but I am so serious about it I can’t fail. Today I began having pain in my belly and I really am craving a cig. I will not give up given that I’m making this effort for my little one. I’m blessed to have the e cigarettes.
